Years 4-6 students are invited to join the LAMDA Group Musical Theatre course, a weekly drama/theatre workshop in English to be held on Thursdays. This will be set in a fun atmosphere where students get to meet new friends, develop self-confidence and communication techniques in a relaxed environment. Theatre games, improvisation and trying a few scenes will be covered. No experience is required – just the desire to enjoy your time, to work and collaborate with other students and to try something new! Students may also opt to partake of the LAMDA examinations at the end of each semester. Small showcase performances may be scheduled as well as the opportunity to be involved in the all-school musical and the Spring straight play. Note: LAMDA is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding bodies for the Performing Arts and has been offering practical examinations in communication and performance subjects for over 130 years. LAMDA qualifications have helped hundreds of thousands of candidates of all ages and abilities to develop lifelong skills.
