The YCIS Sinfonia is designed to give all string players (violin, viola, cello, double bass) and pianists a well-rounded music education and unique musical experience in a string ensemble setting.
Conductor - Mr James Chan
James Chan has taught in a variety of community and educational settings in London and Hong Kong. He studied law and music performance at the University of East Anglia and furthered his music studies at Triniy Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance under the instruction of Diana Cummings. After completing his master's degree in Music Education and Performance, he began his teaching career in London.

Audition arrangement:
Format: video submission
A short piece of own choice (2-3 mins), ABRSM Grade 4 or above. Submit video online by 28 August, 2023 at 5:00pm
