Comprising talented young musicians, the YCIS Symphony Orchestra delivers breath-taking performances that showcase their skills and passion on all orchestral instruments. From Baroque to 20th C, pop to rock, prepare to be transported by the enchanting melodies and harmonies of the orchestra.
Conductor - Ms Zenan Kwan
Ms Zenan Kwan has been working at YCIS since 2013 and is currently the Head of Performing Arts in Hong Kong. As a music educator, Ms Kwan is especially keen on nurturing and developing students’ musical ability in performance. In 2020, she established the YCIS Sinfonia, and has conducted and led the group in many successful performances. Ms Kwan received her Master’s degree at the Indiana University in the US, and her Bachelor’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music in London, both in Piano and Violin Performance. Beside teaching, Ms Kwan is an active performer in Hong Kong and has frequently appeared as a guest performer in collaboration with members of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta.

Format: video submission
A short piece of own choice (2-3 mins), ABRSM Grade 6 or above. Submit video online by 28 August, 2023 at 5:00pm
